Press are Dirt at E3

Well, when it comes to poor press service, E3 wins.

The press room is congested, with over 15 minute waits just to get a place to sit down. Next, once you actually can sit, your WiFi connection connects, but it is slower than slow. Half the wired connections don’t work, and dorks doing LIVE podcasts steal all the bandwidth, yelling loudly as they rant about the Wii. At CES, there are multiple press rooms, and your connectivity is the number one priority. At E3, the dude at the desk tells you to screw off, he’s surfing for booth babes.

For lunch, they give you a box. The sandwhich inside is soggy. No unlimited water or pop. At CES, they give you a catered HOT lunch, unlimited snacks, and people clear your tables for you. You have to throw out your own box at E3.

Apparently, at COMPUTEX you get treated like royalty with foot massages, dim sum lunches, and all you can drink, drinks. E3 is truly at the bottom of the heap.
