Bootcamp Update…

So a couple weeks ago I started doing a fitness bootcamp. I’m starting to feel a lot better with the exercises. I’m feeling a lot less sore, and more able to push harder in the exercises. However, during my freeride trip to Kamloops, I bailed and buggered up my right quad. It’s not painful when I’m walking around, but if I need to run and change direction abruptly, it gives me a bit of a problem because my leg wants to collapse a little. Hopefully it’s nothing, and it goes away. It already feels a lot better than when I first injured it.

I’ve got 4 more sessions to go, so next week, it will be back to back boot camp everyday. Although the scale shows that I’ve actually put on weight, I’m always reminded that muscle is heavier than fat. Hopefully at the end of the camp, I can at least fit into a few more pieces of summer clothing.
