The $250,000 Wedding Proposal…

The Taipei 101 is the World’s Tallest Building. As a result, it would make one fantastic billboard. Well, it looks like the Taipei 101 management agree and for $250,000 US, they will run your message in lights at the top of the World’s Tallest Building for all to see. I’m not exactly sure how much time $250,000 US buys you, but if this message is down tomorrow, then we know it is for 24 hrs. Ouch!
Depending on how you read the sign, it looks like Diana is asking someone to marry her. Or is someone asking Diana to marry him? That could be one very expensive typo. I wonder how many girls named Diana think that their man has asked them to marry him, or how many guys with a girl named Diana thinks that they’ve just been proposed to? Either way, if you’re not loaded, it’s more than you can afford pal!
I wonder if we’ll see a response posted up there tomorrow? Imagine if the answer is “No way!”
Waste of money or the most romantic thing you’ve ever seen? I’m erring towards the first option.

Yay! Thanks for taking a picture of it.. was having a hard time getting a good picture with the rain
What if Diana can’t read English?
I would imagine that, if you are proposing to someone, you would know what that person can read!
I’m wondering how it’s done - is each “pixel” an office window?
Is there any restaurants up in the tower near the top. Heading up there for dinner would be a fun addition to that as well.
$250,000 proposal, 6 months of income for an engagement ring, typo on big phallic symbol, priceless
