PayPerPost Money Trickles In

Although I can’t seem to find the post, I’m pretty sure that I mentioned that I signed up for PayPerPost, a paid posting service for blogs. In a nutshell, it’s a way for advertisers to get their products out there and control the feedback that their product gets while providing monetary incentive to bloggers. Because the opportunities are open to everyone as long as you meet a certain criteria, you can blog about any of the opportunities and receive some cash for your efforts. The type of control an advertiser includes the pay out, your PR ranking, and the tone of your review (positive, neutral). I found out about it while looking for money making ideas for my blog.

As such, you can kind of see how this may be a dilemma for someone like me who won’t be positive for the hell of it. However, no one force feeds me, so I’ve picked out a few over the course of the last couple months to blog about. I actually lost interest in it when there was a period where there was nothing I felt I could really be honest about. Recently though, the little payments (5 bucks here, 4 bucks there) started trickling in. And man, I do mean trickle as these little Micropayments started showing up on my PayPal.

I logged back in to PayPerPost to see if there were any opportunities I felt I could contribute honestly on. It seems like there are a few things (like this post) that I could wrap my keyboard around. Just FYI, this is one of those “Neutral” ones. So if you want o make a couple dollars on your blog, in your spare time, check out PayPerPost. You will get paid…albeit…a little at a time…

I’ve pretty much been socking away this money into my e-cookie jar on my PayPal for a rainy day. So far I’ve been paid about $50 bucks in total. This one will add another $10 when the next payout happens. I’m not really worried about when, but so far, they’ve paid when they promised.
