John Chow Gets Banned From Digg

All good things must come to an end, as John’s URL for his blog got banned from Digg. It seems that there are a group of DIGGERS out there that are pissed because his blog does well getting DUGG, and their blogs don’t. But then again, I’ve never known John to enjoy humble pie. He prefers his Foie Gras. I’m sure that his boasting about getting Dugg, and then blogging about it, then getting that same post Dugg again, has ruffled more than a few feathers.
At any rate, it looks like these individuals got their pee pees in a knot, and have decided that they would have better luck wielding their “bury” buttons. The bury button is quite small, which says something about their manhood.
According to Digg, if stories from a URL get marked as SPAM and buried enough times, or the URL is reported enough through their contact form, it will eventually be banned. You can imagine what sort of evil implications this must have. As such, even I’ve stopped reading Digg because there is such crap on the front page now. There is so much MAC stuff there. The stuff that is Dugg makes no sense, isn’t even entertaining a lot of times, and some of the comments are just retarded for no reason.
While Getting Paid to Surf rises from the Dot Bomb ashes, it looks like one of the darlings of Web 2.0 is on a downward spiral.
