Get Paid to Snitch on Corrupt Diggers and Scapers

Well, it looks like Digg and Netscape have a problem on their hands. Well, I’ve known that they’ve had a problem ever since I’ve noticed the stupidest stories ending up on the front page. That’s why Jason Calacanis, owner of Weblogs Inc. is putting down the green to put an end to social news site corruption by advertising firms and companies looking to sell their products. Allegedly, they are getting this extra exposure by paying people to Digg or Scape their press releases or stories.
I’d like to try and out the advertisers and marketing firms on digg (and maybe even Netscape, who knows) that are paying folks to submit news for them. If you know of a firm doing this send me their name, the email they sent you, the URL of the story on digg/netscape, and/or who they are paying.
If your tip pans out I’ll send you $100 via paypal. Yep, I’ll pay you for ratting these folks out.
I admire what he is doing, but will it really solve the problem? Or just create new ones? I guess we’ll see.
