Isagenix Shake Days #1 – Program Day 5

So this marks the 5th day of my program. Since this is technically Day 3 of the 9 day cleanse, I’m going to do an update on my vital stats. Today is also the first day of 5 shake days. I’m so glad my Chocolate Shake mix arrived yesterday. That vanilla crap was horrid. I had one this morning, and it wasn’t bad. It wasn’t good, so maybe I’ll just say far more bearable than the Vanilla.

Measurements here are compared from start and from our last check. Here we go:

Weight: 171 pounds (Decrease of 8 lbs from start and 1 lb from last check)

Body Mass Index (BMI): 25.25 25.4 (Decrease of 1.18 from start and 0.15 from last check)

Total Inches: 325.0 inches (Decrease of 15.7 inches from start and 0.5 inches from last check)

Neck: 14.0 inches (Decrease of 0.5 inches from start and 0.3 inches from last check)

Upper Arm L/R: 12.0 / 12.2 (Decrease of 0.4 / 0.7 inches from start and 0.0 / 0.1 inches from last check)

Chest: 37.0 (Increase of 0.3 inches so back to start size)

Diaphragm: 33.9 inches (No change from start, but Increase of 0.3 inches from last check)

Waist: 32 inches (Decrease of 3.4 inches from start and 0.4 inches from last check)

Adbomen 6″ Below Waist: 34.4 inches (Inrease of 1.0 inch from last check for a total loss of 2.4 inches from start)

Buttocks 9″ Below Waist: 40.4 inches (Increase of 0.2 inches from last from last check for a decrease of 0.6 inches from start)

Upper Thigh L/R: 23.4 / 23.2 inches 24.0 / 23.9 inches (Decrease of 2.1 / 2.3 inches from start and 0.6 / 0.7 inches from last check)

Calf L/R: 15.0 / 15.4 14.9 / 14.9 inches (Increase of 0.1 / 0.5 over last check for a total Decrease of 0.4 / 0.0 inches from start)

Upper Knee L/R: 16.0/16.5 inches (Decrease of 0.0 / 0.5 inches from last check and start)

So overall, it doesn’t look like things changed a whole lot. Those tiny fractions of an inch here and there that increased and decreased could pretty much be a wash. Trying to measure the exact same place on a body doesn’t always happen. The biggest achievement has been losing that extra pound, bringing me down to 171 lbs. Apparently, these next 5 shake days are when the extra inches start coming off. I can’t wait because I have a winter wardrobe to reclaim.

Overall, this morning, I feel pretty good. I got to bed late, but I still have a pretty reasonable level of energy. Getting quite a bit done around the office, all without the need for coffee. No caffeine headaches at all. Gonna go for a run after lunch and my reasonable meal. I have a Salmon Salad leftover from last day that I have been dying to dig into.
