You want a Vacuum that SUCKS!

Of all things on the market that you can buy, the one thing that SHOULD suck is your vacuum. My vacuum shopping experience has been less than stellar, and I won’t be looking forward to doing it again. First, I spent an hour pondering my options, and I still really didn’t know what I wanted. Then, after I made my decision, when I got the thing home, it was smashed to bits, still new in the box from the store.
I go to get another one, and managed to wrangle a deal on a demo unit that was worth twice as much, for the same price. Thinking that I’m ahead, I take it home, and try to vacuum with it. It had less suction than my little dirt devil. I look for leaks. I even try sealing the air path with electrical tape, wherever there was leakage. Still no sucky sucky.
Eventually, I seguay to the HOOVER site to see if there was some troubleshooting guide. I find the manual for my Saavy WindTunnel model and low and behold, I realize that my vaccum was missing a part. It was a cap that covered the bagless chamber. I thought to myself, “Damn. Couldn’t be this easy!” I take some saran wrap and put it over the chamber and power up the vacuum. Low and behold, MAJOR SUCKAGE! In fact, it was so powerful, the saran wrap was no match, and ended up being destroyed by the vacuum.
I called up the store, and they ended up replacing the cap with one from a new unit. Luckily, they were identical, and I really did get a great deal. After replacing the cap, I was good to go.
I was quite amazed by how much crap it picked up. This was all stuff that was never touched by my old vacuum. In fact, it looked like a small furry animal got stuck inside, and this was just from one rug! So the moral of the story is vacuums should suck. Make sure you get one that does!

Man, that really sucks!!!
Yeah! It’s great! A vacuum should suck, not blow! LOL!
Oh, forgot to mention, after all was said and done, it was a great deal at $100 versus well over 200
