For those of you using Wordpress, which pretty much is most of the blogosphere, listen up. Though I hate doing these Wordpress upgrades, like veggies, they are for our own good. However, it only took this one line in their release to convince me:
2.2.3 is a security and bug-fix release for the 2.2 series. Since this is a security release, we suggest you upgrade immediately.
The release also has plugs for two fixes that are HIGH PRIORITY. You heard’em! Go get the upgrade here.

If i _was_ running wordpress why should i do this ‘HIGH PRIORITY’ update?
I update things when people tell me they are high priority. I loaf on service releases and things they call “misc fixes”.
I agree, I can never be bothered to update wordpress cos its too much hassle getting everything to work properly again.
Well, considering how easy this one was to upgrade, I’d say do it any way. No use having open security holes out there that everyone knows about and can exploit.
I actually updated another blog by simply dropping all the files down and crossing my fingers, and it went off without a hitch. Though technically, you should turn off all the plugins before upgrading.
I only do the major upgrades smaller ones are more hassle than good
