I also love the MTR in HK. It's always so cool and clean like you mentioned. I only wished the subway in Seoul would turn on the air conditioning all the time. During the winter, especially during rush hour, when the subway cars are filled to the brim, there is NO circulation whatsoever of fresh air. GROSS!!
