Time For a Vacation. Hawaii Maybe?

You know, I’ve never been to Hawaii! It’s true! Maybe it’s the beaches? I hate getting sand in my shoes. I’d prefer a well swept patio NEAR the beach any day. That’s why Hawaii Vacation Rentals might be a viable alternative for me. You can get a bunch of friends together, get a huge house, and avoid the crazy hotel prices. You could even avoid the beach if you want, in the comfort of your own rental place.
VLBO Rentals offers all sorts of rental properties at all sorts of prices, depending on your budget. Many are fully furnished. Location seems to dictate pricing, so if you want closer to the beach, then you pay. Since I don’t really care about the beach so much, I can stay cheaper in paradise. I definitely didn’t know how accessible rental properties were until this posting opportunity was offered to me.
This post was brought to you by VLBO Rentals. Maybe if I earn enough pocket change this year, I can head to Hawaii for Xmas. Maybe rent a Ferrari for that full “Magnum P.I.” experience. I wonder if VLBO rents Ferraris? I wonder if I can afford the insurance!

did i mention i was jealous?
i dont even remember the last “real” vacation i had. I usually just go to the beach for a day with my friends. nothing like hawaii though
Wow, all of a sudden I have an urge to want to smack you for being such a whore. Seriously…i was all excited for you going to Hawaii and then I see that someone paid for you to post about it.
I understand that you use the internet to make money, and all power to you for that…but dude… this post just made me feel like i need to take a shower…It’s one thing to monetize the internet, it’s quite another to turn a *personal* blog into an infomercial. I’m pretty sure that I will never use VLBO rentals knowing their propensity for using such underhanded methods to get their name out.
I think the main reason you never noticed them before is because of this. As a result of this decision, some blogs that have hidden their paid posts the whole time will now really stand out. I’ve disclosed the fact that I’ve been doing paid posts the whole time.
As a direct result of these posts, which was also bought, I WON the camera and photo printer that’s going directly to the BC Children’s Hospital. I actually got the email the other day saying that I was “Hooked UP”. If I can influence things like this to happen, I’d be happy to cherry pick two or three posts a month to sprinkle in.
I personally like to give and this has given me an additional way to do it. I can’t say I feel bad about that.
No, I understand pay per post and I understand the benefits to you and to whoever you wish to share the wealth with. And I appreciate that you disclose when you do a paid post. But I just don’t like it.
im so confused….
PayPerPost is paid posting service for bloggers that connect advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers pay for posts on blogs. Before the ruling for disclosure, PayPerPost was extremely dirty. With pressure from the community, they are trying to clean that up.
I’ve always disclosed whether they told me to or not. I think you have the right to know if it is an ad or not. That’s why I put in that the message was brought to you by VLBO Rentals. PayPerPost is now encouraging you to credit the advertiser rather than calling attention to them, probably because advertisers complained.
I might have to do a post on how to make money with your blog later, with my personal take on the Pros and Cons.
Back to the original topic of Hawaii and beaches… dude, you grew up on the beach! How can you be SO turned off of them?
Okay, salt water sucks. I don’t enjoy the taste of it, nor do I like the grittiness you feel when you dry off. I prefer rivers. But what about just spreading yourself all over the sand and soakin’ it up? What’s wrong what that? How can you not like that?
Sand in the shoes? I say, what are you doing walking around in the sand while wearing shoes anyway?? Take ‘em off!
We need to work on this, my friend. This is not normal.
Yeah, I lived by the beach and avoided it as much as possible. I hate salt water, the gritty feeling, sand in my shoes and that not so fresh feeling. Give me a pool with a floating bar and a cool patio any day.
I’m looking to go on a vacation too. Somewhere sunny and relaxing. Do you think Hawaii is a better idea or Mexico?
I’d feel more comfortable not being robbed or shot, or stabbed. Hawaii wins.
