Time For A Road Trip – Kelowna, BC

Time For A Road Trip!
In order to get better acquainted with my new car, I decided to go on a bit of a road trip through the interior of BC.  I took the long way up to Kelowna which took me through some more “twisty” sections of highway instead of bombing through the Coquihalla.

Time For A Road Trip - Kelowna, BC

On my way up, I experienced all sorts of different weather from overcast skies, to rain, to hail to snow then full sunshine. The snow was a little unexpected.  I sure am glad I went for the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S instead of the Summer versions. Even if I did get into a bit of trouble, I’m sure my All Wheel Drive and ABS will help me out of a jam.

On the rest of the drive, I really started to fall in love with my new car.  The ride is firm but comfortable and the handling is very responsive. It just refuses to break loose or go squirly at any speed through any corner.  It’s was fun watching people trying to follow me through a corner and get freaked out at the speed I’m carrying.

Anyway, I’ll probaby be back in a few days, but I’ll be blogging on the road.  In the meantime, make sure you enter the contest for the Micro USB Flash Drive I’m giving away.

Sweet. Glad to hear that you’re enjoying the new Subie. My brother has the same tires on his BMW.

Thanks! I have a ton of insect casualties too. Thankfully, no roadkill to claim.
