The Final Countdown by Swedish glam band, Europe, is probably one of the most EPIC power ballads of all time, second only to Dragon Force’s Through the Fire and Flames. However, when a band butchers this song to death, the only EPIC left is FAIL…
My ears! They burn! Buuuuurrrrnnn!
It was so horrible i had to shut it down half way thru! Are you sure they were playing The Final Countdown even?!! It sounded so ghastly I could not even identify that song. And that singer, someone put him out of his misery already and tell him that he cant carry a tune in a bucket!

@Stephen- I think they drove them all away; or maybe they were just rehearsing…. to get better, much much better.
I think they’re German. That can explain the bad organ that sounds like an accordion. It actually resembled Dieter from SNL, I was half expecting him to touch his monkey.

That is really awful. This must be the kind of thing the military uses to get people to give up (Panama and Waco). Play that loud for two hours and I would do nearly anything to get it to stop.

Actually, most of the band doesn’t seem to be too excited to be there either.

I really wonder if it is some horrible joke. I mean, really, no one can be that bad.
I think it must be a joke too, either that or they are planning on paying people to listen! Whatever, but they look really lack-luster and desultory in their ‘performance’.
