The Origin of the Humping Japanese Squid

As netizens of the Interwebs, it is our duty to stay up to date on all that is weird and there is no place weirder than Japan. Combine technology and strange sea monsters with the land of the rising sun, and you get things like the Japanese Squid Monster that was created by the folks that produce only the stuff you care about, Attack Of The Show on G4TechTV.

Ed Lau obviously is not as awesome on the Interwebs as he thinks he is. He had absolutely no clue what the Squid represented in his recent video about Weird Asian Snack Food whereas I was quick on the draw and was able to correctly identify the Squid Monster in question. This is a task that should come with awesomeness, which leads me to believe that his bouts of awesome are purely random celestial occurrences that happen in the presence of Japadogs. Was his iPhone broken? Could he not call up the powers of the Google or the Wikipedia before flapping his fingers? I guess being in Japan too long at questionable Internet establishments that serve animated fornication can do that to you.

To edumacate the masses, I’ve attached a video that clearly shows the origins of the Squid Monster from Japan…

Now go forth and share your new found wealth of knowledge on this mythical Interweb legend. The unplugged masses won’t know what you’re talking about, but at least everyone that saw this post will.

I can’t help but notice the serious lack of humping and Japanese day in this video. :D
