The Master Chief Gets Sued?!

The Master Chief Gets Sued?!

Of all the stupid things people sue eachother for, this one really takes the cake. I almost swallowed my gum when I saw how ridiculous this is. Apparently, lead idiot…err…plaintiff…Randy Nunez is taking Microsoft and Bungie to court because Halo 3 causes his Xbox 360 to crash or freeze…

Lead plaintiff Randy Nunez says he paid $59.99 for his game. He wants class certification and damages. He is represented by Bonnett, Fairbourn, Friedman & Balint of Phoenix and San Diego. See complaint.

It never ceases to amaze me what idiots sue for, clogging up the legal system so that legitimate cases can’t get heard. I own Halo 3 and an Xbox 360, and after several marathon sessions of Master Chief Goodness, I’ve never had my game or system crash or freeze once. You can read more about this stupid case right here.

I think we should find out what this guy’s gamer tag is and just turn on him whenever he’s on Xbox Live. Dibs on the sniper rifle The Master Chief Gets Sued?!

Thats some pretty funny stuff. Any way for someone to have to not make a living I guess. I mean, this is entertainment and this guy is trying to get money from someone that has given him good entertainment. Thats just stupid! By the way I zoomed this post. Liked it!

Yeah, that’s pretty lame. If he by some miracle wins, and a precedent is set, can you imagine the number of lawsuits that will be placed against Windows operating system for crashing? Hey, wait a minute… I think I might want this guy to win! ;)

I agree, It’s amazing what sue for – especially in the States. It’s shameful that people are so willing to make a quick buck. On a side note, your site made my browser render colors that I wasn’t expecting.

You can expect to hear from my lawyer in a few days.

It is amazing to see some of the lawsuits that are filed in the US court system. Not only are the people to blame but what about the law firms that are accepting these ridiculous clients. It does get their name out there but I know that I would never use a law firm like this if I had a legitimate case.
