I crawl to work, but to pick up packages and groceries, I used to use the car. I came home with four bags of groceries in the Scooter last night. I've already ridden in the rain. There's just no purpose for a car unless I'm heading to the US for shopping or need to make sure my hair looks OK for a meeting

Walking or Scootering: It's the only way to go ;)

Since I moved house, I can walk to work. As a result, I still have half a tank left in my car and I last filled up on the 28th of AUGUST.

Yep, that's a quarter of a tank per month, or about £15 in fuel. Sure beats £120 a month :)

Not this year, but at over $200 of gas a month I don't use, it begins to add up. Also, oil changes cost about 12 bucks. Drain, clean, fill. Have a nice day. It's at least $40 for synthetic oil alone, plus a filter, plus a crush washer, and that's if you do it on your own. Take it to a dealer or drive thru place, you're looking at least $60 - 80 bucks.

I drive my car once a week now when I have to pick up large packages. Even when it rains, I still ride. I fill my car up just around once a month. It's great :)
