Maybe I Got the New Guy?

I just got off the phone with The Source customer service regarding the “Good Error” in my order. Instead of asking me to ship it back like this dork, the rep I got this time just took care of things by processing the refund and that was that. He said that normally he’d apologize, but in this case it was a good thing that the order was screwed up, so he thanked me instead. I joked back that it’s a huge improvement over being yelled at for screwing up an order, and he just laughed.
This shows that there is a pretty big gap between the reps you get. Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you get a bad one. However in the case of Sears, I got a moron twice in a row. That’s not a good sign for them. However, when I had to have my stove redelivered the same day, the rep was awesome and made sure I got the delivery in time, but she was local. The two idiots I got were from the Sears Winnipeg call center. Winnipeg, you’re not doing so hot. Maybe there’s something in the water?

I’m probably a good example of bad customer service. On the odd occassion I actually answer the phone (I usually just let it ring or pick up and say something like “Oriental Flower Massage Parlour” and wait for the click), I do my best to get rid of that customer as quickly as possible.
Poor Dave having to deal with you every day!
