So Laptop Lifestyle got its first DIGG today! For those that aren’t familiar, DIGG is a user driven content site. People submit content, and the most popular content gets to hit the front page where a ton of people will start bombing the sites that make it there. You make content popular by voting for it, called DIGGING it. Today, Laptop Lifestle got DUGG for this article.
The content wasn’t totally original since it was based on a corporate press release, however, I was able to put my own spin on it to make it unique and my own. Since it was good enough to grab over 400 PLUS DIGGS, and make it to the front page, I think I did pretty good. There were some people who didn’t agree…
Nathan from TweakNews had this to say:
“If you feel the need to rehash corporate product releases as your own content, please feel free to remove us from your news email list.
There will be no dignified response to his message, if at all of course. I think he’s just upset I got there first ![]()
