It’s All Good! Wordpress 2.7 Coltrane Upgrade Successful!

I’ve just upgraded this blog including MegaTechNews and Futurelooks, and so far so good. Although I’m not sure if things are indeed “Faster” per se, I am liking the way things look. It does seem a bit zippier though in limited testing.
The Wordpress folks have prepared a quick video, going over all the new freshness…
Go ahead and download it right here, and of course, don’t forget to backup. Once you do the upgrade, be prepared for a bit of a shock as it’s unlike anything you’ve seen from the Wordpress Crew on the backside. Enjoy!
Hopefully this version works better on slower computers

2.7 looks great but is a massive resource hog for the server. Also, they’ve added a new template tag that makes life rather complicated for people who use Sandbox as the basis for their themes.

i never try, 2.7 beta version, when 2.7 stable version come out, i update, then i login to see the dashboard, it was “emm…” for a moment. it took time before i familiar with all function and navigation, but overall wordpress is the best.
The interface is great.. Glad wordpress responded to users’ request.
