Futurelooks…Unplugged…

So yesterday, between like 2AM and 11AM, the sites were down. It appears that after having two new servers installed into the rack, the powercord from our apache server that also helps run other sites in the rack, fell out of its socket leaving the sites cripped for most of the morning. Oops!

Thanks to Chris at Netnation, our webhosting sponsor, he found the problem, rebooted the servers, and everything was right as rain.

It also appears that our rack is now full, meaning no more space, however, we do have a game server in there that we will yank to put another couple of servers in there. I’ll be purchasing another server after coming back from E3 in LA to help offset the load and help Futurelooks, LaptopLifestyle, this blog and all the other sites in there run just a little bit faster.
