From ShenZhen to Hong Kong

So here I am in Hong Kong. I’m so happy to be here. Everyone speaks either English, or Cantonese, or both. ShenZhen was a blast, but I sure wouldn’t want to live there.

First off, although it has the look of a big democratic capitalist city, it is totally controlled by the Chinese Government. You’ll notice Red Army police and security at every corner keeping a watchful eye. This is partially the reason I haven’t been able to post (due to Internet Filtering, not because I was interrogated in a dark room or anything), but that has more to do with the fact that we weren’t at our wonderful 5 star hotel very much due to the heavy partying we did there. I’ll leave you with a picture for now…
