Finally! Phone is Unlocked!

So after travelling through Taipei and ShenZhen, I was finally able to get my stupid Nokia 6670 phone unlocked in Hong Kong so I could use a local SIM card to avoid those pesky roaming charges. I think the breakdown in communication came from the fact that no one on the other two countries spoke English and I didn’t speak Mandarin. Anyway, good ole Cantonese know how got my phone unlocked here in Hong Kong. Now I can use my phone cheaply. It cost me about $150 HK dollars, so roughtly $25 CDN.

Now that my phone is unlocked, not only can I travel anywhere and use local SIM cards, but it’ll fetch a nice price on eBay, if I find a new phone in HK to replace it
