The AdSense Notifier extension is great, very convenient to always have that available in the browser. Another one that I love but didn’t see mentioned is the Web Developer extension.

I liked the article and found some new extensions that I need to try out but I would have liked to see the article as more of a list. The current format made it a little hard to see each extension as they blended into the text a little.

I picked out a number that I’m definitely going to install too when I was editing it out. I was looking at it and did find something off, but couldn’t put my finger on it. I think the list format might have been it. It would have definitely been more easy to skim through if it was listed. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll pass that on to the writer.

I agree. Having it as a list would have made it easier to read.

Why does your font change with every paragraph? It doesn’t really make it harder to read technically.. but I found it hard to read.. Plus this list should be.. a list… When I clicked, all I saw was a bunch of words with random fonts… Maybe it’s because I am really hungry, and my brain is lacking nutrients, but I just couldn’t bring myself to finish reading this article :(

Still dugg though!

I think it’s the new Vibrant Code. The HTML is clean, but when the Vibrant code clusters beside certain sections, it makes it go weird.

Maybe I shoulda left the extra redundant checkbox at the top so you’d see it and DIY. 1 vote. Anyone else?

At first, I thought it was annoying but now that I’m a regular visitor, I find it useful.

The only time I have a problem is if I have been offline for a day or two and there are a ton of comments pouring into my inbox. At least I’ll be up to date though!

I have this box uncheck by default on my site, I thought it best to give the commentator the option…

I visited a few blogs that had it checked by default, and thinking back, I probably would not have returned a second time if those blogs didn’t have it checked for me. You can uncheck at anytime, but it forces you to take a second look if you do comment.

If my blog didn’t send me an email everytime someone made a comment, I probably would not be able to keep up with you comment whores ;)

That is a great point, it does make it easy to keep tabs on your site!

I agree, there are a ton of mails that come in soo quickly.. it is a bit overwhelming, and its not the easiest to read either. I like the mail for the notification, but i come to the blogs to actually read the threads.

Maybe an enhancement to this plugin could be something similar to many forums use where you don’t continue to receive email notifications until you have visited the site again.

It can become a little much on some threads though, for instance I will rarely subscribe anymore on John Chow’s site simply because of the volume of comments on each post. When the “community” is a little smaller, it isn’t so bad though.

I’d be all over that. It would definitely make it a lot more manageable. During the height of hte Top Comment Whore Contest, it was almost unmanageable!

I like it being checked by default as I would likely forget to check it otherwise and I find I do not return to sites as much if I am not getting the notices that they are new comments.

Colorzilla’s pretty cool. I guess no more screenshot to photoshop and extracting the color to determine the pigment code. Yes, I’m old school like that.

I use it and have downloaded some of the stuff listed, but I still don’t really understand how they all work. Hell, I’m still figuring out how to take a screen shot, lol.

You already take better digital pics than I do. My camera is a piece of crap as I was trying to snap some macro pics tonight of free schwag I won from John Chow and they were all crappy.

The trick is to keep it simple, lol. My camera is a simple 4 year old digital camera.

True, I guess my camera is okay for standard shots but it cannot handle macro shots. Or maybe it can and I just don’t know how to do it which is entirely possible.

We just upgraded ours, our new one is water proof! We took the kids to the pool and the “Underwater” mode gave some amazing pictures!!

What did you get? I’d love to pick up a digital SLR but that is a lot of money to shell out for the limited number of pictures that we take right now.
