Don’t Mess With Google or I’ll Mess With You!

Google has been very kind to many webmasters and web entrepreneurs around the world. They have given me a life that I never thought possible. That’s why I need to stand up for them. I was over at Tyler’s site, and came across this video that talks about how crooks are defrauding the Adsense and Adwords service.

The way that some of these crooks are ripping off the service is totally mind blowing. It totally cheapens the worth of the Adsense and Adwords programs and even worse, creates pages that are not helpful to the users, and steers people away from where they really need to go. That page about “Asbestos Cancer” is just stupid. It has a picture of a doctor and the words “Asbestos Cancer”. The rest of the page is loaded with all possilbe Google ad creatives. Some people really do suffer from this disease, and with these useless sites in the way, it really makes it difficult for people to get the help they need.

I hope Google really clamps down on activities like this to maintain the integrity of the program. They are ripping off my advertisers, and they are threatening my income. I’ll be damned if I’m going to let someone screw with that.
