I wouldn’t mind one of those bundled with Vista!
La Vie en Rose has been selling those roses for years :)

There use to be a computer store in Walley (Surrey) which was a grocery/computer store. So you can get cables and frozen pizzas in one isle. I believe the name was Golden Top or something like that.

That’s actually extremely convenient! In the good ole days, I’d be working on my PC nonstop. A stop to the computer store with conveniently placed snackables and frozen food would have been an asset. It’d be a one stop shop ;)

It would have been great but most of the store was in disaray and it was hard to find anything.

If it was planned properly I would agree it would be a great store.

I am sure that store would be my first choice of where to buy authentic windows vista. Yeah right. Nice find and funny picture

i agree with you, it seems kinda shady to me, like someone pulling their car next to me asking if i want to buy dvds or cds.

Isn’t that how you buy DVD’s? Are there stores for that now?

i used to work in a grocery store, and one of the cashiers was friends with a guy who did that..it was amazing, he had a list that was stapled and about 5 pages long 12pt font of titles, in alphabetical order, of all the dvds he could get us for $5 each. it was amazing. and deliverty time was fast too :P

Yeah mine was in NYC and needless to say we got some $5 movies and they were like hand taped with peoples heads in the middle. I’ll shell out 20 to get the real thing from now on.

mine was pretty decent in quality, it wasnt as good as the real thing, but the audio and visual were both good, but you could tell it was a bootleg. I found it amusing how he had movies that had just been released in theaters.

Ha, not a great advert for Vista really, when you’re forced into bundling it with a completely incongrous item. But it’ll take more to convince me to embrace Vista :P

I think they should package Vista with a backup computer that has Linux installed which you can use when your computer dies after installing the Security Black Hole called Vista on your system. Maybe they can include a “live in Tech” to fix the problems for a month with any purchase.

Just a few suggestions, lol.
