Bad Exchange Rate, Bad!

It’s true that I’ve never made more with my sites than right now, however, as a Canadian living in Canada, although I get paid in US funds, I still have to pay my CDN bills in my local currency. It was not too long ago that every US dollar was worth $1.50 CDN to me. Now it’s about the same!
So right now, not only am I suffering, but so are retailers, pizza delivery guys and cabbies! Basically any business tied to the US. Fuel costs, material costs, you name it. If it comes over the border, we get to pay with more of our Canuck Bucks for it. Worst of all, this is totally out of my control! I can’t do anything!
Well Mr. Harper, you and the Bank of Canada figure something out mmmkay…
Heh…I accepted a job that pays in US funds the VERY DAY that the dollar turned around its downwards swing 2 years ago. It gets worse every week too
