This month, I sold a record amount of Text Link Ads. I’ve sold off six of the eight spots that are available. At $40 bucks a pop, this has finally put me in the category of “WTF? You make money off your blog?” I’d like to take this opportunity to recognize my sponsors this month by giving them a plug to say thank you!

stephen, do you happen to know what the req. are for TLA? because I would love to send my site in but it hasnt been accepted. Are they looking for a PR or an Alexa rank?
They require a strong PR and an ALEXA ranking. I’m not 100% sure about the threshold they employ however I know that initially, my blog was rejected even though it was PR4 at the time. My blog was accepted when I broke the 100K on ALEXA if I remember right.
I didn’t even notice your sponsors!
Gotta agree with young ms. tulips on this…i view them like i view davie st panhandlers…as something i need to ignore lest i go nuts and start breaking things.

Hey, thanks for the making the post. I thought I ididn’t expire until the 30th Jan! Either way, I’d recommend your blog to any potential advertisers for traffic and SEO benefits. Even if your like me and did it in an attempt to beat a friend in a contest to see who could get ranked #1 for their name in one of the main three search engines quickest. I’m 8th in Yahoo at the moment, go, go, go! Thanks.
