16 Days to Go!

With just over 2 weeks left, I’m finding myself more complacent.  I still want to put in a good effort, but I’m starting to feel less motivated to do it.

Today I saw some guy with his kids hanging off the back of the baby buggy as he pulled it through my floor.  He had the thing loaded with puffed pork snacks.  He starts opening them up to feed his kids.  Unpaid for of course.  I wonder if he even bothered paying for the open ones.

Some guy started talking to me about free over the air satellite and how there are SOOO many people out there starting to catch on to this and that the providers are furious.  I’m just sitting here nodding as he tells me how to rip off our company’s retail partner, Bell Expressvu.  Did he even see the Expressvu signs?

He’s telling me how easy it is.  All you have to do is this this and that.  It’s amazing how many tech heads out there lose themselves and ignore that most of the population can barely program their VCR.  Most of them don’t even know what MP3 is. I guess it’s a unique perspective that I have from working with the general public that makes Futurelooks able to appeal to a mass audience.  I hope I never lose the eye for this.  What’s funny is that this guy kept saying that EVERYONE is doing this.  When I asked who everyone was, he got excited and told me that he’d been talking to people all over the world in chat rooms, bulletin boards, websites.  Riiiight…

Some people just can’t see past their own little world.
